If the silicone lid has already absorbed odors, there are three effective solutions to remove the odor:

• Baking Soda Paste: Mix baking soda with a small amount of water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the silicone lid, gently scrub it with a soft cloth or sponge, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it with clean water.
• Baking Soda + Salt: Soak the silicone lid in hot water with a small amount of baking soda and salt for 5-10 minutes, then rinse it with clean water.
• Lemon Juice: Squeeze fresh lemon juice onto the silicone lid and rub it in. Lemon juice acts as a natural deodorizer and can help eliminate odors. Leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it with clean water.

After completing the cleaning process using any of the above methods, it is important to place the silicone lid in direct sunlight to air dry. Sunlight and fresh air can help eliminate any remaining odors.
