The lacquer is rubbed into the wood by hand, resulting in a glossy surface that beautifully highlights the wood grain pattern. Over time, the lacquer may wear, but it will not peel off like synthetic lacquers.

In order to prolong the lifespan of these chopsticks, please follow the following care instructions:
- The newly opened chopsticks may have a slight lacquer smell due to sealed packaging. Do not soak or boil them in hot water as it can damage the lacquer and the wood.
- These chopsticks are not suitable for cooking, such as boiling noodles, making soup, or deep frying.
- Avoid letting the chopsticks soak in water for a long time, get damp, or be exposed to direct sunlight to prevent discoloration or deformation.
- Handwash with cold or lukewarm water, using dish soap is recommended.
- Do not clean the chopsticks in a microwave or a high-temperature sterilizer as it can cause the wood to shrink and deform. They can be washed in a dishwasher at 50-60 degrees Celsius.
- After use, let them dry in a well-ventilated place. Do not place them next to a heat source.
- It is recommended to replace the chopsticks every 3 to 6 months.
