These spoons are made of Burmese teak wood, each one hand-cut and unique. There are variations in the spoons as some have a coating of beeswax oil, while others are lacquered. Most wooden materials have a natural scent from their own oils, with Burmese teak wood having a slightly stronger aroma. If the spoon comes into direct contact with food, it may affect the taste. Therefore, for spoons, it is recommended to use lacquer to seal the pores, which also provides mold resistance.

These spoons can be used for eating meals, soups, desserts, and can also be used for scooping. Over time, the wooden spoons will acquire an aged and slightly soft appearance, which may make you want to keep them by your side at all times.
